The Outer Banks on the North Carolina Atlantic Coast are a true Mecca for Sport Fishing. The Outer Banks are known as "the Billfish Capital of the World," with excellent fishing for blue marlin, white marlin and sailfish - and plenty of charter fishing boats who will help you find one! The billfish fishing season is long, with the peak for blue marlin in June and white marlin and sailfish in August/September. Note - most billfish that are caught are thrown back - so that the thrill of fishing these beauties is preserved indefinitely.

Besides Billfish, fish that are frequently found on the North Carolina coast are mahi mahi, mackerel, yellowfin tuna, black sea bass and giant bluefin tuna. There are a large number of very well-equipped charter boats and experienced Captains available to help you with your fishing requests.
